Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš in Prague on a working visit.

The two sides reviewed the "unprovoked Iranian terrorist attacks" targeting civilian sites in the UAE, as well as drone strikes launched from Iraqi territory, including one that struck an electricity generator at the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant last Sunday, outside the facility's inner perimeter.

Prime Minister Babiš expressed the Czech Republic's solidarity with the UAE and condemned the attacks. Abdullah bin Zayed thanked Prague for its supportive stance and reassured that all residents and visitors in the UAE remain safe.

Beyond the security dimension, the two officials discussed bilateral relations and explored new avenues of cooperation across several sectors, reflecting what both sides described as a strong foundation of friendship between their two countries.
