Hilton has announced a significant expansion in Morocco, aiming to more than double its hotel portfolio to over 20 properties in the coming years.

The company has signed agreements for nine new hotels, adding over 1,300 rooms across seven of its globally recognized brands.

Highlights of Hilton’s Moroccan Expansion

  • Waldorf Astoria in Rabat: Marking the debut of the Waldorf Astoria brand in Morocco, this property promises luxury and elegance in the nation’s capital.
  • LXR Hotels & Resorts in Casablanca: The country's first LXR-branded hotel will enhance Casablanca’s status as a vibrant international destination.
  • Curio Collection by Hilton: Both Rabat and Casablanca will host properties under this unique, upscale collection.
  • Hampton by Hilton in Benguérir and Fes: These new hotels will bring affordable, high-quality stays to travelers exploring Morocco’s iconic cities.

Morocco’s tourism industry has seen remarkable growth, with 13.1 million tourists visiting the country in the first nine months of 2024—an increase of approximately two million compared to the same period last year.

Hilton’s nine new signings will contribute to this momentum, adding not only over 1,300 rooms but also around 1,500 jobs, further solidifying the brand’s footprint in the Moroccan market.
