Israeli President Isaac Herzog was interviewed by the Saudi news channel Al-Arabiya, and called on the peoples of the region to unite against Iran: “Iran is the only country in the world who calls for the eradication of another UN member state.

 "Iran offers destruction. We are offering hope.”

Referring to the future of the region, Herzog emphasized his vision for peace: "The people of the Gaza Strip deserve a better future as our neighbors, and we deserve a better future as their neighbors. It is possible. It is doable. It requires leadership and bold steps forward." 

He added that "we truly believe in our vision, we are a democracy. We are an oasis in the Middle East. We have we have Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and Circassians living and dwelling together."
