Lebanon secured a crucial victory on Friday night against Bahrain in Group F of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers, according to the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). 

The match took place at Khalifa Sport City in Qatar, as reported by FIBA’s official website.

With a final score of 84-78, Lebanon, led by Wael Arakji (17 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists), showcased resilience in the closing minutes of the game. Despite leading by 17 points at one stage, the Lebanese team had to withstand a strong comeback attempt from their opponents before sealing the win.

This victory puts Lebanon one game away from securing the top spot in Group F. 

The team remains in excellent form, extending its winning streak to five consecutive games.

Lebanon’s next challenge will be a home fixture against the United Arab Emirates at Zouk Mikael (Keserwan, Lebanon). 

A victory in this match would further cement their dominant position in the qualifiers.
