Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Cairo on Sunday.

"It is imperative to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and to increase aid in the face of a catastrophic humanitarian situation," he declared.

Mr. Guterres, as is his custom, did not mention either the Israeli hostages or the surrender of the Hamas. The only solution to end the conflict.

These statements give the impression that the United Nations is encouraging the terrorist organization to continue the fight.
