Jordan officially reopened its airspace on Saturday morning, following a temporary closure due to heightened military activity between Israel and Iran.

According to a statement from Jordan’s Civil Aviation Authority, the airspace was reopened at 7:30 a.m. local time (4:30 GMT). The decision comes after Jordan had closed its skies on Friday amid reports of missile and drone activity in the region.

On Friday, Jordan announced it had intercepted several drones and missiles that had entered its airspace, prompting immediate precautionary measures. The country's official news agency, Petra, reported that these threats were linked to ongoing military exchanges between Israel and Iran.

Authorities say air traffic is now returning to normal, but continue to monitor the situation closely in coordination with regional partners.
