In a major move to bolster Jordan’s sports sector, King Abdullah II has directed the government to construct a new international football stadium.
This initiative aims to provide world-class facilities for Jordanian athletes and create more opportunities for the country’s youth in the realm of sports.
Alongside the new stadium, Abdullah has also instructed the development of sports facilities in Al Hussein Youth City, Jordan’s first and most significant sports complex. Furthermore, ongoing efforts will be made to enhance other sports venues in Amman and across the governorates, ensuring that athletes from all regions have access to top-tier facilities.
This move aligns with the King’s continued commitment to advancing sports in Jordan, recognizing its role in fostering talent, national pride, and youth engagement.This initiative is part of Abdullah’s broader vision to strengthen sports culture in Jordan, inspire young athletes, and position the country as a hub for regional and international sporting events.
